This bottle of The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky is one of only 2012 produced to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The unique image of The Queen, depicted here commercially for the first and only time, was one of a series of effigies created by Arnold Machin OBE RA. These designs were eventually developed into the Machin Definitive, used on Royal Mail postage stamps. Distilled at The Macallan Distillery, this is one of only 2012 bottles of an exceptionally fine marraige of the very best whiskies from casks filled during the Queen’s reign.

These two 350ml Macallan whiskies were bottled in 2013 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The Macallan proudly marked the wonderful occassion with two single malt whiskies. A lively expression symbolic of the young Queen at the start of the new Elizabethan era, and a mature malt to celebrate Her Majesty’s monumental achievements over the past 60 years. Macallan carefully selected whiskies from a noble range of sherry seasoned oak casks to produce 1953 bottles each of Macallans whiskies of contasting characters, representing the diversity of the years of the Queen’s reign.
