Boisdale of Canary Wharf
Boisdale restaurants, the embassy of Highland hospitality south of the
border, have three establishments in London – in Belgravia, Bishopsgate
and in Canary Wharf. They feature a unique and very successful mix of fine
yet affordable British food, a great wine list, an unparalleled range of
malt, blended and grain whiskies, probably the widest selection of Cuban cigars
in the world and the best classic jazz, blues and soul offering in London.
Cast in a unique setting with Jools Holland – the doyen of boogie-woogie, jazz
and R & B – as Patron of Music.
Boisdale of Canary Wharf is a two-floor venue overlooking Cabot Square
which comprises Restaurant, Oyster Bar and Grill, a Whisky Bar, Cuban Cigar
Library and Shop and live music venue. The music programme comes with
the seal of approval of no less than Jools Holland, ‘Patron of Music’. The
restaurant has more than 1,000 whiskies displayed along a 12-metre bar.
Whilst Boisdale cocktail list pays homage to an era when the art of
mixing drinks was an admirable trade and when balance and harmony of
ingredients was paramount. In 2012 Boisdale was shortlisted for the The London Live Music Venue and London Bar of the Year Awards.
